Donation Usage Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026 · Nuran Foundation (CIN: U88900MP2026NPL085191)
Transparency about how funds are used is central to donor trust. This policy describes how Nuran Foundation allocates, monitors and reports the use of donations.
1.Application of Funds
Donations are applied exclusively to the charitable objects of the foundation: food security, education support, healthcare assistance, emergency relief and related community-welfare programmes, plus reasonable administrative costs necessary to run these programmes lawfully.
2.Campaign-Designated Donations
When you donate to a specific campaign, we apply your donation to that campaign. If a campaign becomes fully funded, is cancelled, or cannot proceed, the balance is redirected to the most similar active programme. This flexibility is standard for charities and ensures no donation sits idle.
3.Administrative Costs
A limited portion of general donations covers essential operating costs (compliance, audit, payment-gateway fees, staff and technology). As a Section 8 company, no part of our income is distributed as profit or dividend to any member or director.
4.Verification Before Disbursal
Every beneficiary is verified through documentation and in-person field checks by our volunteers before aid is disbursed. Disbursals are recorded with supporting proof (receipts, distribution records, photographs where appropriate and consented).
5.Accounting & Audit
Accounts are maintained per the Companies Act, 2013, audited annually by an independent chartered accountant, and filed with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Income Tax Department (including Form 10BD donor reporting).
6.Donor Reporting
Donors may request a utilisation summary for their contribution by writing to info@nuran.foundation. Annual programme summaries are published on this website.
